Fire Weather

Our county along with the majority of the extreme north part of the state is under a red flag warning, which means that conditions are favorable for extreme wildland fire behavior. Everyone please be sure that all brush fire equipment and apparatus is in good working order. Please keep in mind careful apparatus positioning and personal safety when responding to wildland fires, as conditions could change rapidly and become very extreme during periods of red flag warning weather. As always our primary concern is structural protection, but we must also do all that is possible to help control the fire as well.
